We bring people together through choral singing, shared learning, and cultural exchange in Salt Lake City. Founder Yu-Feng Huang established Note Is Arts & Culture to put an educational belief into practice: music can help us build lasting, authentic relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the wider world.
創辦人黃育峰成立專註藝文，是為了實踐一個教育信念：透過合唱、共同學習與文化交流，幫助人建立與自己、他人、文化及世界之間持久而真實的關係。

Grow beyond the performance.
Artistic excellence grows through curiosity, discipline, understanding, and sustained practice. A concert is one moment in that journey; our deeper aim is to develop listening, judgment, and the confidence to keep learning independently.
藝術卓越來自好奇心、紀律、理解與長期練習。演出是學習的一個時刻；更長遠的目標，是培養傾聽、判斷與自主學習的能力。
Make participation possible.
High expectations belong alongside thoughtful support. We seek to recognize barriers and offer clear, practical ways to understand and practice complex music, language, and cultural ideas—giving different learners a real opportunity to grow.

Build a community of trust.
Every singer brings a voice, a perspective, and the freedom to think. We work toward a choir culture grounded in transparency, listening, discipline, and cooperation, where individual agency and responsibility to the ensemble support each other.
每位歌手都保有思考與選擇的自主性，也理解自己對團隊的責任。我們希望以信任、透明、紀律、傾聽與合作，建立共同承擔的團體文化。
Meet the people behind the music.
Language, literature, history, and lived experience shape how we hear a work. Through repertoire from different cultures, including Asian choral music, we seek understanding that reaches beyond pronunciation to respect for another person’s world.
語言、文學、歷史與人的經驗，都影響我們如何理解作品。接觸不同文化與亞洲合唱音樂，不只是唱對發音，更是學習尊重與理解不同的世界。

Our ensembles offer places to practice these values together: preparing thoughtfully, exploring a work’s context, listening to one another, and sharing the responsibility of making music.

We hope participants leave with more than a successful performance: artistic understanding, cultural sensitivity, independent judgment, and the ability to work with others. The lasting measure is a willingness to keep singing, listening, reading, thinking, and seeking deeper understanding throughout life.
我們期待留下的，不只是一場成功的演出，而是藝術素養、文化敏感度、獨立判斷與合作能力。教育最長久的成果，是離開教室或合唱團後，仍願意歌唱、聆聽、閱讀、思考，並持續尋找更深的理解。
